Amp on the decklid is a nice idea and I love your placment of the sub. I had a infinity basslink installed a month or so ago but I like your setup better. Good luck at the show

That car phenominal to say the least. I can only imagine what it looks and sounds like (true, I've never really heard a GXP running, except at idle in traffic).
I wonder how that car would respond to ported/ceramic coated exhaust mani'*.
Engine and heads is problematic squeeze cast aluminun and I wouldnt dream of porting or attaching steel headers to it. The heads are known to warp just looking at them funny I am pretty much resigned to running the ***^ out of it now, and looking at ways of putting a real "old school" V8 in it later. A Olds 350 bored 403 with a early 90 Caddy tranny has been done to a few FWD'* and exploring that. These N*'* really are un moddable. They are unflashable and have so many inherent details that dont allow for umph. The best thing I can come up with is a head swap with a L37 and thats alot of work and expense for 25Hp and even less torque. For that kind of trouble, I'll leave my 75Hp nitrous shot in.
I would love to see a LS6 or LS7 in there but I doubt thats really possible.

Yes I did get the idea of the trunk lid mount from you Pat and Thanx, I was hard pressed with what to do with it having a wheel chair that has to go in the trunk also. Looks great there and about best place with some free air around it. 350 watts puts out alot of heat. The sub works great as mentioned and gives the stereo just what it was lacking. And my ears are happy so I wont have to touch the Monsoon all in one everything is connected to it. The Sub amp has a built in "modulator system" inputs so the wiring between to two systems are isolated from each other.

Ed those would be nice but the only pratical solution I've found is the combo I mentioned.... And a 403 is an awesome powerplant. Other than putting frame rails and a real rear end. Time will tell. These N8'* dont last forever. another choice avalible in the future would be the newer 4.4L N*, they push 440 Hp and i am in awe at that.

Blue Eyes I would love to come to Bonniefest but I have an elderly Aunt with Dementia in tow and a trip to the West coast is out of the question. But the Midwest west-East coast meet might be doable.

Thanxs Shadow I thought of the Basslink as a few other club members have done that. But wanted in my face bass and very happy with it. The rear view mirror even vibrates and without distortion at high volume. AC/DC sounds same as in my house now. Good nite and thanx for all the good lucks. I will be home and let you know tomorrow nite.

Beautiful car. If you are ever in the Philly area, let me know as I would love to see that beauty in person. Any chance of you making the summer Philly meet?

Good luck at the show. I hope you place again. You deserve it!

The poster looks great with your car. I'm glad we worked around the slight problems with shipping and were able to get them to you by the show. It was a close friggin' call, but we made it. Good luck! (you're probably sleeping now so when you read this you will have won the show).

Ya but he atleast has the other half of the system for them LOL

Maybe he'll inspire YOU to actually get subs instead of cranking your mid/hi range speakers at ear piercing levels LOL
