well everyone i might be on to light pollution 2.1...... depending on the ins. adjuster got into an accident in my 2 week old truck .... guy missed his corner DEAD STOPPED in the middle of the road and turn... and by the time i realized it i was smack into the middle of his tailgate....... we both stop and he comes back to talk to me to try to bargain w/ me to not call the cops because he has no license.. (and im assuming no INS.)... which i tell him no way..... i have my gf who is due w/ a baby girl in less than a month get the plate... at which point i say hey man if you wanna take off ill still give the cops your plate.. so he hops in and takes off.. cops show up and ambulance for amy to make sure shes ok.... i hit the guy doin about 35-40ish no air bags out... he was inanother full size truck i know i lifed him off the ground when i hit him due to how high the damage on the hood was..... Police Officer didnt give me a ticket.. shes like in the eyes of your INS you're at fault in the eyes of the state its not your fault.. im going to press citing him.....


anyway heres the damage... anyone want to take a guess at the AMT?

im guessing about 35-45 hundy. replace both front fenders hood radiator, bumper. so i thinkt hat would be a good guess. they gave me 1000 then someone slamed into the front of the wifes civic in parking lot. but that was remove old paint and repaint bumper and install.

hmm ya right i got it repainted for 300 bucks.....

I'm going to have to go with the $3500-4500 guess. Looks like the radiator support is pushed back and bent, along with hood, fenders, bumpers, radiator fan possibly if it is rubbing, checking the frame (looks like a high enough hit to be safe, but gotta check) if there is frame damage, add more money

If the guy left, he should be cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

they havent caught the guy yet.... i got no cite for it.. but right now its at $5000... new lower bumper, new inserts in the bumper new plastic piece oiver the bumper, grill, ac condeser, radiator, core support fan shroud, belt, foglight 2 new fenders, paint and a partrige in a pear tree....
