You know, I was wondering about the fuel mileage, this thing has been suckin it up!!! Its thirstier then my Aurora :?
I'll give the tap shift a try on the way home from work tonight, the weather is supposed to be lousy, might be a good excuse to try it out.

I asked about mileage on the ClubGP forums and one guy said....
"If you can keep the RPM'* under 2500 while accelerating, then you're going to get nice gas mileage, if you can magically keep it under 2000 with out getting ran over, you'll see fantastic mileage."
TapShift helps with this.... Mileage is, of course, better in the summer but the DIC is saying about 21 - 22 right now. With summer gas I've seen around 24.

Wow, cuz thats very difficult to do, in city driving, thats next to impossible, the PCM controlled tranny is all over the place not only that but TC lockup is such a bugger when you hit what? 40mph? The tip-in is very sensitive on this car so that doesn't help either.
I guess TapShift is the only way to go...silly flappy paddle gearbox.

A still very lousy 15L/100km, but thats city driving only, in the slop, slush, ice and snow. The only way I can truly see what this car can get is when the weather improves slightly.
Tell me though, when its cold outside (warm tranny fluid), is there a clearly audible noise when going into reverse with your wifes car? I'm concerned about mine.
