Ah! There it is!
First things first: Congrats on the purchase, guys. I hope the car brings you trouble free enjoyment.
You may want to consider extending the length of the intake towards the headlight. More cold air is found there. Also, wrap the filter in some sort of heat shield to keep warm engine air out, and let the cold only go in. You can wrap some pliable sheet metal around it for now.
For your headliner, how about some velcro? Get the adhesive kind, stick one part to the roof, the other to the headliner, and away you go. The only thing that worries me, is it could be a sign of a bigger problem. Sometimes, headliners let go if they are getting wet. Might want to check the seals around the windshield. Next time you take it for a wash, run your fingers between the headliner and windshield seam, see if you feel anything. If so, you can have the windshield removed, resealed and reinstalled. It is a pain, but you will save big $$$ down the road.
Edit: Btw: I love the rear window decal. I want one!!
Again, congrats. Are you guys addicted to the "whine" yet??

We're as newbie as newbie gets lol. We first thought the whine was something wrong lol. But we like it now that we know. You mean the rims are grand prix? The tires are Yokohamas. The leather is worn and driver'* seat has a hole on the lumbar area off to one side. We're getting plugs and wires today and brake pads. Theres a 300w Alpine cd/mp3 player in it. I'll use your suggestions for headliner and air intake. Right now we have a toilet plunger wedged from the seat to the glovebox door. lol

Start a thread in the "Wanted" section for that glovebox door. It'* possible that someone here has one to sell you. Others get to the JYs pretty often and might be willing to pick one up if they see one.
While you are checking for leaks, you should consider the sunroof too.

Plunger!
Any duct tape kicking around?
I know I am deviating from what this post is: Your Ride. Specific problems should be addressed in 1992-1999, however, if I may expand on what Lash just mentioned about the sunroof:
Retract the roof all the way. Get a cup of water, and pour it into the track area. There are drain tubes connected to the sunroof track in each corner. These tubes run down the roof pillars, then drain out of tubes found by each wheel. If it only leaks out the front drain (front tires), raise the car from the front, dump in another cup of water and see if it comes out the rear drain tubes (rear tires). This is really important! If the water drains freely from each end, then great. If not, the tubes could be blocked, or more likely, disconnected. This could be the reason for the saggy headliner. The headliner would have to be removed if that is the case, and the drain tubes reconnected to the fittings. GM glued them, rather than clamped them, and the glue weakens over time. Check it out first, if the water doesn't drain, let me know. (The water will drain somewhere, likely all over your nice carpet.) I would be happy to send you the link on how I fixed mine.
