Bill, keep the 95. It has a longer-life trans in it. And there'* as much of an aftermarket for the 95 now as there is for the Series 2.
That way you can drive for what you feel you need. Low down torque delivery, or longer legs.

Come on Bill -you're such a tease.
Sweet -I'll be joing the 1997 SSEi owners club this weekend. I just went and checked one out -$600 clams brings mine home. Of course, I need to put a new bumper, hood, grille, core support, coolers, bags and windshield in, but I'll have this 140k car together for under $2k.
Selling my 1990 SSE to fund this one.

Ok everyone...I just got home. The possible parts car had no parts left on it. So that was a no go. The 1997 is here...and was in my driveway by 6:30pm.
Got something I need to fix right away. Some bearing is going, if I kick on the a/c the noise goes away. Couple possibilites...A the A/C compressor is shot and I've already called the guy...B an idler pulley is shot and needs a quick replacement. So I'm off to go diagnose it.
Meanwhile..the car is Black...Randy agreed it looked purple...but it'* black.
It'* dirty..and needs a couple small things...but it'* whole and runs awesome
EDIT: Crap!!.. A/C compressor bearings when it'* not engaged are bad.
