Did you add the chrome over the doors and windshield or was that done before you got the car?
Reason I ask is if it came that way from the factory then the black strip on the door mouldings and bumper should be chrome too. Vice versa for the black.

You know, I never noticed that til yesterday when I was cleaning her. That'* how she came to me. Not sure why the difference, but you're right that they should be the same.
I was actually wondering if I could replace the chrome with gold.

That is on Lake Erie, on our peninsula, which is a State Park called Presque Isle. Have you ever been here? Buffalo is not too far. Tryin to talk the wife into havin a meet here, but we don't have room to put people up. There are some good campgrounds though and lots to do.

Car looks good. I like the chrome around the windows better anyway. The black looks kinda cheap. They put chrome on the SE and SLE, but you get a SSE and SSEi and couldn't get chrome? That'* stupid. Well, enough of that, let'* not get an argument started, JMO. Nice car.

I've passed through Erie many times going south to KY, but have never stopped to visit. It'* only a 2 hr drive or so. I did go camping in Tioga State Park once...can't remember where that was, but it wasn't too far into PA. Camping in PA is goregous... I'm in flatlands up here...blech... you've got so much better scenery.

If there'* a weekend you want to go camping, just post it and see if anyone is interested.
