No it doesn't. Either will throw a fault code that disables whats left in PCM/TCM software that limits traction. Or so the "standard accepted" thinking goes. I myself wonder if it all isn't disabled by merely disabling T/C, but it'* easy to unplug one, so I do it if I am of the mind to use up a little of the dangerous oxidizer in my trunk.
