Those stock Goodyears are taking forever to burn off.
Need a good excuse to replace them with Z rated booties.
Another solid week of sunny warm weather ahead, right thru the long Easter weekend.

Looking sharp silver, I take it you had TC button off, did the stabilitrak make it hard to do those slides? I have to admit ive never pushed my car like that, there is not enough open space around here.

There are pluses and minuses to living in a small isolated town. Dead end highway 20 miles north and a ferry 20 miles south. If one times it right between ferries, the road is clear the whole way south and back.
The stabilitrak didn't activate because the backend never came out. The car just pushes the frontend in tight circles. That'* one of the reasons I enjoy taking my RWD Firebird on similar runs....more tail out fun and power sliding.
I never saw how much the front end rises and the rear end squats before looking at that one pic of me accelerating from a dead stop. It'* no wonder we have traction limitations.
My son took that pic and I forgot to turn off the TC for that one shot....or it would have shown billowing smoke...which was my original intention....maybe next time.
Early on the way out, I came up behind one of only two cars on the road, a red 1977 Firebird who tried to stay ahead, but I took him on a straight at about 100 mph.....whoops no kill stories He tried to keep up but fell waaaay behind. I felt bad about it because of my Pontiac connection.
