The American Falls are actually rarely frozen over like that, they say its about 30 years since it last froze over. Am I crazy and on something, or does it look like a big dog or lion like animal sleepin in that ice form in the second pic of the iced falls???

Beautifull pics, the wife and I would love to go there sometime. You're lucky to live so close to something so beautifull.

If you ever get the gumption...it'* only a 6-7 hour drive, depending on where you are in NH. We would have a mini-meet in your honor. You could even stay over if you didn't want to front the cost of a hotel.
