Tough to compare. I've done 4 sets now. 3 or 4 coats can be put on like 7, all depending on how thick each coat is. Those look to be as dark as I'd consider doing, while still being effective at night.

Keep a sharp eye on how they look during the day with brakes. Glad you did this. I've often wondered how tinted 96-99 tails would look.

they were pretty light. 1337ssei did 6 and he said he probably would have done one more. but i definately need to get some leds now, atleast for the back up lights. the brake lights are pretty good during the day.

how do i and where can i get leds? hans showed me some on ebay. is it just a straight swap with a normal bulb?
