Yeah, that'* perfectly reasonable. Sorry for the misleading text as my tone actually was more of a joke style. But yes, different bolt patterns are probably a cause for concern.

I snapped all my studs one night.. cruizing down a rural street at like 3 am. My front left wheel snapped off, shooting a shower of sparks out of the rear of my Bonneville. The brake rotor landed on the inside of my 18" rim, cracking it. Bad experience!

Snapped studs happens when the threaded rods that hold our wheels have some sort of weakness that'* exploited by extraordinary circumstances. It'* a slightly greater concern with wheels whose holes are 114.3mm apart on studs that are 115mm apart. That less-than-a-millimeter difference is what lets us assume it'* easier to snap studs with these types of wheels rather than "proper" ones. We'll see. I'd only be concerned if my studs were extremely old. Cross your fingers for me!
