Default How to put GXP brakes on an 2000 SSEi

FRONT
You will need the GXP Calipers and Brackets. Got mine from car-part.com
GXP Calipers are dual piston and aluminum (much lighter)
GXP Brackets are much larger

GXP Rotors and pads. I went aftermarket - Slotted and Dimpled Rotors from performancebrake.com and EBC ceramic pads
SSEI rotors 11.7" GXP 12.7"
Pads almost twice as big

Install longer GXP hose
Had to modify hose bracket - they are keyed - ground out/off key (they weren't in the right position and kinked the hose for me.

GXP rear Bracket (very close to same, sits half an inch higher for larger rotor)
SSEi 10.7" GXP 11.7"
GXP rear rotors and pads - performance brake.com gave me ceramic pads for $20 with purchase of rotors

Install rotor, bracket, caliper - with SSEi hardware, used same e-brake bracket (hardest part was switching the e-brake cable)

Went for a ride to seat the pads, was slamming the brakes @ 40 4-5 times. She stops like 50% shorter then last week when doing it with the new SSEi pads. MUCH BETTER !!!

Na, your not blind. Been a busy week/weekend for us. And we always polish things on the copy, remove comments, and move the photos onto our server before they go into Tech Info.
