ok it just i pull the handle and nothing happens i have to pull the hood up but my friend did and he pulled my grill and he cracked the grill trim. my trunk release works have the time also. i push the button and nothing happens ive tryed adjusting the release too. but as soon as i get a full time job and after we pay off the cradit card i get a bonneville cant wait im still gonna keep the buick as a winter car maybe

Yeah trunk release doesn't work at all, and hood release just half the time, but the trunk release for me is electronic, and the hood release is cable. I just haven't taken the time yet to look it over...

i think my hood is the latch that hold the hood down

Shoot some silicone spray in the cable, and work it a couple times, make sure hte cable is hooked up well.
