I'd suggest you drop the attitude. You could smooth your transition into this place if you wanted to.

You were asked about your cam, as we've never heard of a Series 1 cam referred to as "stage 1" before. It'* that simple.

Well maybe give us some kind of details. I hope you understand AFAIK you'll be the 2nd person to install a cam into a Series I. Me being the other. We also get a lot of fakes that are quickly weeded out... So we have questions, I'll number mine for ease of response.

1. How did he grind the cam; Does he own the necessary equipment?
2. How did you install it; what was necessary?
3. Did you need different sized pushrods?
4. Did you have it ground for a 'lopey' idle?
5. Was the cam installed 'straight up' or advanced a few degrees?
6. Did it make a big difference?

Thats a good start...if you don't mind.

I would expect nothing less from veterans of this forum, willren has done a very good job with me, KUDOS to him!!!. He has proved me wrong already, just a little misinformed on my part. I don’t expect to be “scrapping it out” with you guys here!! That’* not why I joined this forum, Just looking for good company!! Which I think I have Found!!!.

Yes you should expect this from veterans AND regular members. We're all curious. You're the second one to talk about a cam for these engines and I've provided several pictures and documented my entire journey...you can read it yourself.

What did Will prove you wrong on? And if you would, answer the questions I've outlined above.

The sources are listed clearly in the thread and ready for purchase...anyway, like I said the interest is in the details. Please just answer the questions. You have a cam in there, these are really easy questions.

I only can reap the benefits from being around such knowledgeable people. Joining this type of forum is why I came in the first place. But “DON’T KILL THE MESSENGER“.

Nobody is killing the messenger, you spoke of actively being part of this process. You must have known something about it. He never told you to buy X sized pushrods? You never saw the engine pulled out or apart or specific parts taken off to install it?

About the chip, maybe it was specific to my year or maybe I'm off on this (comments?)....even though they don't make one for yours. But its not actually a chip, its a module you plug your chip into...Any idea how he may have programmed this? I don't see it possible as I'm sure its proprietary information.

Most would probably call this "reasonable doubt" and since you're the one with the claims I believe its your responsibility to prove them as true.
