Hey I'm a new member but long time Bonneville owner. Just bought my 1998 SSEi friday. Still have my 1988 LE I got in 1994. Pictures from both of them should be in my sig. Laters all and have a good one.

I'm sure that 88 did its job, I think I'm going to do the same thing you have done. Buy a newer SSEi and let it "learn" from the older wiser late 80'* model.

Still gets around
Yeah my old LE still gets around fine but there is a number of small problems that are starting to mount up on me. I decided on buying a new one rather than sinking more money into my old one. Hey the old one got me and 3 friends from south dakota to ohio and back last summer and got about 29 mpg on the trip, so still works like a charm.
