I'm a fan of the L36 SS M90 top swap, it will give you about 270 HP instead of the 240 from a normally */C engine and is cheaper than a full blown top swap

Thanks guys, I saw the gxp tails and spoiler on there and sawgunner I suppose I should blame you for me wanting to do that since I saw your sig a week ago before I had a Bonneville and said if I get a silver one I need to do that too hahaha.
now excuse the ignorance since i'm new to these engines but is the L36 what I already have in my 2000 or is this L36 top swap something I need to look into because I'm interested in cheaper

yes, you have an L36 or the NA 3800, the L67 is the SC 3800
supercharging the L36 provides more power due to the higher compression and you don't have to change as many parts since the pully gets run off the accessory belt, you leave the stock heads and crank pully, and get to replace some important gaskets while you have the engine torn down to the LIM
If you wanted to come to Cleveland we could have your car done in about 3 hours if we don't have to replace the fuel lines from the metal tubes to the rails

cool, dammit, i'm on here for like 2 hours and im already making plans to put a supercharger on my car I have only had for 4 days.....you are a bunch of enablers haha, and I like it.
