Default New amp switch - LED goodness

I needed a killswitch for the amps. I had too many close calls with the boys in blue riding by and me not being able to kill the volume fast enough.

So...

It'* not a problem anymore.

Very nice, I have a very similar switch for my power antenna do the fact that my new HU didn't have a hook up for it. So is that just a line break in the remote turn on wire?

Nice and clean. You know its loud enough when you have to have a quick way to kill the volume when around the police

That'* a great idea! Are you killing the 12v or the audio feed to the amp?

Guess it comes from living carefree in the Boonies, but I never thought about that being a problem. But then, we sight our guns in our backyards all day long. Even when I go up to Binghamton NY, they seem to pound the autoglass pretty good with nothing but annoying looks in their direction. Some city cops need to recognize crime and confront it. Not waste all this effort over sound.

Remote line. I've got a matching one for the antenna below it now. It got really annoying with the antenna going bzzzzzzzzzzz-pause-zzrrrrr every time i got in and out of the car.

I've only been stopped once, but I don't plan on it again.

Remote line. RCAs would be complicated and the power would be dangerous to run through that small of a switch. 2.2kw needs a little more beef. hehe

It'* usually pull em over for 5 over, window tint, or loud stereo. Both of which are usually factory. I have a friend that did 20% tint on his back windows only (fully legal in MI) and was actually written the ticket for it. He went to court, cop showed, and the judge was just like WTF.
