To see his car in person was an experience. It'* nice to actually meet the people that you see on the forum, too.
He only has 16k miles on it now, so apparently doesn't drive it a lot. But, he said it took 3 weeks for just the paint job, so things such as that is probably why.
Bob, I probably should get to that some time. Other than maybe one or two at Intense, with the hood and trunk open, I think those are the only pictures I've taken of the entire car!

I had no idea how close to Clarkston, MI you were. I will try and stop by the first week in August. It would be nice to meet the man behind the advice for the 2K+ forum.
You are one of the unsung heroes on the BC. It is hard to beat you when replying to a member needing help on the 2K+ forum, and your advice is usually right on the money.

Looks like good times..... Venom -you should have come another 600 miles west. I am too anxious for the next Bonneville Club meet ..... I need a Bonneville Club 'fix'.
you should see how green things have turned here in Minnesota over the past 2 days with temps in the 80'*.

95SLE - Clarkston - that'* between Flint and Detroit, IIRC...so, about 2 hours away.
Thank you. I try to help where I can. Gotta be careful, though. If I hear things like that too much I'll have trouble getting my fat head through doorways!
Leftd90 - You mean that you didn't read my lounge thread about birds? We sorta set the stage there.
I think that we did reach 80 yesterday, after the rain cleared out. Things are starting to green up nicely around here.

Just got home Archon after a blazin 9 hour drive home (670 miles). Nice shots of the cars. It was great to meet You and see an SSEi up close. Momma wants a bubble bath and it'* off to bed so I'll add a couple myself to thread tomorrow. When Diane goes back to Cincinnati next week, I will take some pics of the car cleaned up and do a spread on the suspension and nitrous, I know I have been to lax at whoring the Venom lately,...... but I've been kinda busy being a newlywed for 5 months. Yep She'* That Great .Especially for a gimpy 53 year old with both his legs glued and stitched on.

John...thanks for covering me on the pics for your nitrous and suspension. I was too busy drooling over everything to think of taking them.
I agree that your wife is great - even for the short time that I met her. To put up with a couple of old farts talking about cars shows a lot. Sounds like the trip home went better.
Brian
Yeah...I remember that. It was nice to have you pull your car in after that to coerce mine into starting. But, along with that....notice how just about everyone else there is pushing my car, while someone else is standing back taking pictures? Of course, you were the meets "historian" documenting everything in pictures.
