Wow, I thought the turbo was gonna be bigger than that, though it is intercooled. Is it possible to put a bigger one in there?

Yeah, you can put a bigger turbo on, and if you want to go faster than high 13'* you pretty much have to. There are a number of people that have done it, but it isn't something I am interested in. The turbo really isn't THAT small, you can only see about 1/3 of it in those pics because it is wrapped in a heat blanket. But GM put a small turbo on it to eliminate turbo lag, and they did just that, so I'm not gonna complain. It makes nice loud swooshing noises when you step on the gas too, it sounds like it has a BOV, I think its cool, although people that ride with me have told me it is annoying and it sounds like a tire leaking air. I don't plan on changing the turbo anytime soon either, because I don't have the $$$ for a tranny, and don't need to run quicker than high 13'*. Eventually once I get another car and I have this one as my fun car and my other car is as my daily driver I will put a 5 speed in it, and maybe a bigger turbo and Ported & Polished heads and a lopey cam and all that good stuff, but not right now, not only can I not afford it, but I don't really want to do the work, I want to have something that I can drive, and I don't want to have to shift all the time in a daily driver. I mean its fun sometimes, but sometimes you really don't feel like shifting.

yeah, the part between the headlights lights up. I think there are 4 lights in the middle part, and then when the regular headlights are on there are lights where the bright lights are that light up, and when the bright lights are on, there are lights where the regular lights are that light up. It isn't enough that you can see where you are going, but it is enough for you to be able to tell it lights up.
