Have you tried rubbing compound on a wheel on your trouble spots? Maybe a good idea... turtle wax makes a good running compound.

its to far gone...especially where the scratches are down to the metal, and the faded bald spot

Well at it this way. At least your paint job is crap on a bonnie. The rest of the car makes up for it.
