Did you remove the pin striping the fender had on it? (I thought it had a pinstripe on it, not completely sure).

yes, and it was a completely different color pinstrip. I wonder how many different color strips they used :? the paint was the same color

thanks to PeterG, I was able to remove the painted on pin stripe with ease. Lacquer thinner takes it right off, while leaving the clear coat untouched.

after looking at the car in direct sunlight, the painter is gonna have a fun time blending the door when he paints it. the fender matches the hood perfectly, but the door now looks like a dirtier white :?
