My first Bonne, Model G (finally found a pic)

This was my first car, got it from my mom with a broken timing chain that got all in the engine and clogged the oil sump. Rebuilt it and it ran pretty good after that. Finally found a pic. Was an 82, Model G, vinyl seats converted to cloth from another car, had about 170,000 in this pic I think. I loved that car. Pic was taken sometime in '98

This guy I know down the road from me used to have one identical to that in mint condition. He then drove a 92 SE and now has a 2004 GP GT. He'* on the road a lot, though, can't get him on the club. lol

Was that a buick 3.8, Chevy 305 or an Olds 307 tucked under the hood?

Could it have also had the Chevy 229cu V6? My 81 Malibu had that engine, no idea if it was original but it fit well and ran well for the most part.

It had the good ol 231cui 3.8 liter with the 3 speed early version of overdrive.

I am always full of questions about these older cars as they could be had in soo many configurations..

Ok being a 231, did it have the THM200 or the THM350<---- I have seen a few with a THM350, and even those seemed like they could move earth in terms of torque
