Default my filthy naked girl

ill bet that title raised a few eyebrows. lol

i pulled off my vent shades today, because over the past few weeks ive destroyed them. on the front passenger, i punched a hole thru the top taking the window out when i was replacing the regulators, and chipped the lip of it. and the back left one i ruined when i slipped up scraping the windows one morning. so i decided to pull them and ask for the in-track ones for christmas.

i will be the first person to tell you how hellacious it is to remove the adhesive. it took about 2 hours, 3 razorblades and a half bottle of tar and bug remover.

heres some pics of the process, and the messed up visors followed with a before and after.

overall, i think it looks alot cleaner. if i get another set it wont be the adhesive kind. itll be the kind that goes in the window track. i dont wanna hide the chrome again.

They are a real bitch to get off, aren't they lol. My friend had one fall off his old Acrua on the highway, so he decided to pull the other ones off. He tried using brute force at first. As you probably know, that didn't go over well. hahah

it does look alot cleaner now. i like it better this way. when i bought the car it already had the visors, i just added the tint. im still considering the in track visors though. the up side to those is it will only cover the window, and none of the chrome. and since theyre black too they wont be so obvious on the windows. the in track kind also have a much lower profile.

im mainly considering them again for 2 reasons. 1, i smoke and dont wanna soak my back seats when i smoke and its raining, and 2 they did a better job than i realized at blocking the sun. i wear glasses with transitions lenses so i wouldn't have to fool with sunglasses. well guess what? they work off of uv rays which all my windows block. so the first time i drove without them it was instantly noticeable that they were gone lol.
