That was another reason he was considering something like silver. Plus, his typical driving style on 35 miles each way for work 5 times a week beats up the front bumper. After buying the Camaro, he made sure that someone else would be behind the trucks hauling dirt and rocks, and let them take the brunt of that stuff. He did have something fly at the Camaro and scratch the lip fairly well, and put a hole in the front plate as well as the plate mount. He had the front bumper touched up while the body kit was installed, so it looks good now. Besides, I still stand by what I said before about his aftermarket visuals looking better on black vs silver.

I washed the Camaro for my dad the other day, and he finally got his LS3 emblems and gauge plaque in the mail a couple weeks ago. I think he'll put the emblems on this Wednesday, as it'* his day off and might be one of the last nice days in our area to get something like that done. Too bad he has to wait until near the end of November to actually wax the Camaro. Anyways, here are the pics of the Camaro freshly washed, plus the emblems and plaque.

And fast. And loud. He finally got the emblems on the other day. Now, he just needs to wrap up the engine cover.

That Camaro is bad ***! We had a ZL-1 come in at our dealership last week, and, most of us just was in awe over this car....love it!

Wish my dad was into cars like yours. Lucky!

The dealership my dad bought his Camaro from had a ZL1. My dad had to take the Camaro in for an AC belt replacement. The dealership'* website had a new ZL1 listed, but when we went there, it was already sold. Definitely a car I want to see and sit in.

Just don't give him any ideas for stuff. He had a perfectly fine aftermarket stereo and wanted a different one! Plus, he has talked about getting a 427 engine and a supercharger (budget won't allow for it right at the moment though). He also talked about tinting the windows.

As I mentioned, he got a new stereo. It'* the Kenwood DPX9990HD. It has GPS nav, HD radio, Bluetooth, and rear view camera support. Pretty much everything that the JVC stereo had. This stereo also has the iPod and USB cables behind the stereo, allowing for it to be hidden anywhere. My dad is going to run those 2 cables through the center console and hide them in the center console storage box. Everything is pretty much all done, he just has to put the interior back together and cut a hole in the center console box for the cables.
