I have an original gold 1989 Bonne SSE. Actually, it started fading so I painted it black. Still have the car.

My parents had a 1990 Black/Grey SSE. That was one of the coolest cars back in the day. It was so far ahead of time than the other cars. Super rare to find one in decent shape! I do like the gold color too!

I just can't bring myself to getting rid of this car. Just today, I took the gas tank out because the high pressure fuel lines were leaking due to rust. Could never justify bringing it to a mechanic but its only going to cost me about 100 bucks to fix (my labor). I must be crazy.

I see you got the LE tail lights on it. Do you have the correct ones for the car? Sharp looking car!

The original SSE tail lights are all cracked. They are garbage and replacements in decent shape are almost impossible to find. The LE tail lights look good and got them cheap. In fact I smoked them so its hard to tell the are not original SSE tail lights. I had to enlarge some of the LE tail light holes for the SSE harness to fit but it wasn't too bad. After I repair the gas tank/line problem I'm going to put dual exhaust on this bad boy!

Nice car. I love seeing other old SSEs. I have a gray 90 SSE. I have had it since 1996 and she has 257,000 miles and still going strong. The only thing that has quit working on mine is the keyless entry, bad module and no longer available.
