That haze is from crap getting throw up in there from outside, and dust etc... And you can get 5 chicks in a bucket seated bonnie easily. Any 4 good sized (good size = NOT BIG) can fit accross the back seat.. I've been in it, and actually had one accross me in a bonneville i was in last year...

When i drove a bench i felt like i was ON the seat not IN it... I love the buckets!!!! Well the many backseat people run was accross campus and one road so it wasn't bad. And i was a lot closer to them (actually on them) then i woulda if he had a bench.

hmm, yeah but my front seats really feel like buckets. They are very deep and supportive. And unless i have a friend riding in the center (which i have on more than one occasion had a packed car, and it still whips civics ) i have the armrest down which does all i need it to for storage and support...etc...

My 95 LeSabre (pretty much the same car) had the leather split bench in it. That actally was a pretty comfortable seat, and the missus could get all snuggly while we were out in it...

Its quasi bucket, since my seats are powered independantly, the the driver seat has this extra portion in the middle where the center armrest sits. Mine don't look or feel like the tradition bench seat. Thats the diff between flagship and other cars. Even the benches are top notch

Jim who are you trying to prove that stuff about your bench seats, us or you??? The bench seats i sat in were very flat, and not nearly as supportive as these bad boys...

As a person who has personally sat in RLD I can say that Jim'* seats are NOT the traditional bench. The bench in my 95 SE were nothing like the ones in RLD. They were very comfy.

Thanks for the back up Seth, I'm just sayin that a bench seat share one common back rest and are not typically powered independantly. I also feel that just because a car has a column shifter doesn't mean the seating is designated bench. I gotta go back to my RPO code and figure it out. Find out what GM really calls it.

I have sat in Tams, Pete and Seths car. That is a TRUE bucket seat. No denying that fact. I'll just sit comfortably in my car and save for the 99.
