I know that there are 2 wires in the door. One for the 5.25 and one for the tweeter. They provide the same signal. The fact. tweeter has a bass blocker on it.

if you dont have the tweeter you can use a component set you will get a crossover that automatically only lets thet high sounds to the tweeter

they might wire the car the same for cars with and without the tweeter, pull the door panel and investigate

The wires are just run in parallel with no crossover built into them. I had to replace one...

Depth? i'm not too sure, crutchfield doesn't list sizes online, but their catalog does.

btw, this is what i am planning

I have a plan for an active 3-way front stage. I'll have to put it of until summer, but I've decided on Peerless CSX 165 C 6.5" midbass woofers in the doors and Scan-Speak 13M/8640 5" midrange in fiberglass kicks. I am still undecided about the tweeters.

They will be powered by an A/D/* PH30.2 (75W x 6)

its gonna be badass
