Does anyone ever wonder if you've taken off the bumper cover for weight savings?
How is the interior? I won't put in my vote until I can see at least the front two seats.

Gumball, that'* a bold claim... got proof? Hehe :P

And Don, I wish I could say it was the sun that did that, but that was my own stupidity. See, I paid someone a good chunk of change to get the car ready to paint after my accident (which explains the front bumper delete and black right front fender, hehe :P )

Needless to say, they did a horrible job, and screwed me out of my money in the process. I had to beg my Dad not to beat the guy'* face in (which I'm pretty sure he would have done. Such was my Dad, hehe )

That'* why I felt ashamed to look at the poor girl for so long. However, she'* been that way for so long now, and she has enough internal crap going bad, that I really don't feel bad about the paint bit anymore. She'* rock-solid reliable (knock on wood) and that'* what'* important. I have more important things to worry about, hehe

But yes, the undercarriage does look like Don'*. And yes, you'd have to be daft to buy a car from a coastal seller, as he said. My Dad told me... stories... *shivers*...

And no, radomir, no one has ever wondered that. Ever. I suppose a look at the rest of the car is confirmation of that, hehe

I'll have to get some interior pics soon. That was one of the things that I adored when I first saw her: I LOVE the tan cloth seats. I swear to God, they are some of the most comfortable car seats I have ever sat in. The interior is rather dirty, given that it seems kind of silly to me to clean the interior when the rest of the car looks like it does, but I'm guessing it'* still cleaner than many cars that look like it does, hehe. Rear footwells still get wet from time to time, but besides for that, the interior ain't too bad. Driving her can be trying, at times. No A/C and bad engine mounts make things a tad tedious sometimes. But, all in all, she'* still a damn fine automobile.

I love her. I'm going to ride her until she dies (which hopefully is still a ways off, hehe) If possible, I'd love to get her back to looking and running the way she did back when I got her (maybe better!) God willing, my next car will be a Bonneville (probably a similar vintage, too)

I guess I really am true BC member, hehe

Is it just that you're a nice guy? Why wouldn't you let your dad beat the guy'* face in? After all, it really isn't you truly doing it. Let the man have some fun!

Well, it'* kind of a moot issue now, being that my Dad is in a little box behind my seat. But I suppose I could summon his spirit and ask him to haunt the guy. He'd probably be amenable to that

Eh, I can't. I'm pretty sure that'* considered black magic. Oh well...

Wow, that was pretty creepy,

Wow, I'm so sorry. I had absolutely no idea. None whatsoever. I'm very. very sorry, and I didn't mean anything offensive at all.

I had no idea. I just knew not to do that again. If I want someone'* face beaten in, I'll do it myself.

Dude! Chill, man Seriously, death is as natural as life itself. Everything that lives dies. It'* just the way of things. Yeah, sure, it would have been nice if he had stuck around a while longer, but he'* gone and, frankly, gone to a better place to boot. Lucky bastard

Frankly, I think talking about his life as if he'* still around is the best way to honor him. In my opinion, he is still around. He'* just shed some unneeded pounds, that'* all, hehe :P

However, I do agree that if you want someone'* face beaten in, that it'* best to do it yourself. I never was one to operate by proxy
