Default My 97 SSE

Finally got a pretty day, and some photos to post.

This is a 1997 Bonneville SSE. The color is named Majestic Teal Pearl/Metallic. Depending on the lighting conditions...it ranges from a deep teal green to a dark purple. Love that effect. Only mods that I have are that I have added an XM Roady, and an Alpine 6 disc changer. I'm new to the Bonneville scene...previously had a 1995 Grand Prix that was recently totalled by a hail storm...but I love mine. It is loaded. I am in love.

Yes, the tint is 20%...I guess that was a mod also. I added that. My attempt to better protect the leather seats. The car was owned by a 65 year old single lady and the passenger seat shows very little wear, and the rear seat looks show room new. I doubt if anyone ever sat in the rear. In fact, I had to use a putty knife to free the rear windows. They were stuck shut from lack of ever opening them.

And I love the pin strip also. It is a red/orange (mostly red but a little orange tint) and white. Looks great on the green.

Love colors that have a bit of depth, my silver goes to slightly blue in good light.
Sweet car! Get a CAI and let that engine breathe!

Here is a closeup of the pinstrip. I had originally said they were red and white. But today...in good light...I realized that the strip that I thought was white is really more of a pearlized silver. In fact...it appears to be the same color as the silver/white pearl wheels.
