I hear ya. I wasn't trying to tell you not to fix her up, just that if you wanted to fix her up and then sell it down the road people might get a little leary of all the damage initially.

It was good for you that the previous owner dumper her, now she has a much better owner!

I know I was razzing. I have goten some real flack. But it was my wife that told me to get it cause it was killing me the way this rare car was treated and was going to get trashed. I'm not worryed about ever selling it and I took it to a really good custom shop not "joes body and paint" so one will be hard pressed to find the damage when all said and done. As for the rust I have 2 3rd gens and owned a 3rd and none of them- mind you they where southern cars, had rusty shock mounts. But up north, I bet the whole car was in trouble of rusting out for how poorly GM protected them.

shes looking pretty good there, I used to be a member on that Fbody site when I owned my pile Aka Camaro. I love the cars but they are very unrealible, I had every problem in the book with my camaro. But its nice to see a car like that being redone.. Good work

They cut the rest of the realy dinged up metal out. It should be ready for full primer in about 2 weeks.

sail panel- now he welded a piece of metal under the "cut" and when finished the weld will fill in the gap. The holes you see are OEM spot welds that will be re-done and filled in.

I hope you are getting some $$$$ for the SSEi considering you did your end of the deal and they didn't even half-a$$ their end.

You have a good cause to report to the BBB if he doesn't give what is due.
