My 89 LE
Thanks for the compliments.
It has 113600 miles on it. The regular maint wasn't kept up on the chassis, but the motor is in great shape. It doesn't use any oil, but the tranny pan gasket needs replaced. Planning on doing that and the filter next. Other than that it just needs a litle TLC and some time.
I don't want to go to extremes, but I would like to make a few changes to add my personal touches.
I am really enjoying this site. It has given me a lot of ideas and images to use for my own ideas.

I know about the salt. I am originally from Ohio, Now those boys used to use some salt!
I was referring to the maintenance. The struts need replaced, tie rod boots are torn, and I haven't looked at the ball joints yet.
I have had the alternator go out on it, rear bearing blew apart. One of those tragedies where the pully stopped and got the belt hot. The belt split along the grooves and took out the crank sensor. Talk about some luck. I guess that'* probly why they put the guard on later years?

Employment! The only thing left in Ohio is sales, healthcare and food. Since the auto industry is sucking right now. That and stupid/greedy govnmt. Affraid to give tax breaks for new factories (let'* see tax break = plants = jobs = more money spent = more sales tax) doesn't take a genius.
Don't get me started with Gov. Taft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
