Well the 80 got its self some updates over the winter including 2"fiberglass cowl induction hood blue LEDs in the guage cluster a sport comp tach as well as some engine bay work including a minor wire tuck air cleaner and deleted a coolant hose..im currently finishing up a 79 357 w vortech heads and roller cam block modified for this engine painted to match my car and when it goes in there will be a 2500 stahl convertor..im also awaiting deleivery of my new centerline wheels so i can mount my BFG radial T/A'*....pics

lookin good. didnt it have a 305 before and you said you weren't going to mess with it?

I wasnt going to take it out as its numbers matching but i decided after driving it all season last year it wasnt enough for me..the 305 is still in it but soon as i finish up the 357 its coming out and may end up in my 92 instead of the 305 that came with it cause i KNOW mine is strong and reliable
