I like the wheels in the picture on your sig. got any better shots of those? on the v8 mod though I dunno. about 3 years ago I had a 87 Fiero GT and when i bought it the 2.8 had a a few rods sticking out the side. I sat and thought about it long but not too long. what did i want, pure racing fun or something just fun.. I thought gas mileage, fun and reliability and so i put a 99 Buick GS 3800 series II supercharged with the 4 speed overdrive in the thing. It turned out great, I left all the emissions connected because i live in a OMG you car has emissions from our poopy gas. but still it turned out with a few mods to produce almost 300 hp. it was not loud, well except for the sound of that supercharger. I constantly got 29 mpg and had loads of fun with it at car shows. [IMG][/IMG]

I sold the car because I was pulled over on I79 Northbound @ 137 mph. Wife said uhm, it has to go. so I bought a slower BIGGER OLDER ride.. this one. [IMG][/IMG]
it is a 1965 Ford, has a 460 CID V8/ auto on the floor. it is no where as fast from 0-80 mph but i can put 6 people up front and 4 in the trunk. it'* only slightly mod'd producing about 375 hp. I'm getting too old to go fast.. just like the cruising nowdays.

I was just being facetious about the Caddy V8 being as how the SLE is body wise the equivalent of the GXP which has the Caddy V8 and 4T80e tranny. It would be quite the undertaking to do the whole conversion. Probably cheaper to just go buy a GXP.

I always wondered how hard the FWD Olds 425 cu in Super Rocket V8/TH425 Tranny out of a FWD Toronado would be. 510 lb·ft of torque would really wake the Bonneville up...
