I finally figured out (i hope) how to post the pic. I can't get over how smooth the lines are on this car!!!
So far the only mod is the tint. I got the car in Iowa, was told to remove all the tint, then i moved to MD where they said the same thing in order to pass inspection. Once i removed the tint i was amazed at how much it had added to the look of the car, so i put it back on (after inspection of course!)
Supposedly i got better bulbs for the foglights too, but it'* always hard to tell if they're doing anything (except looking really cool at night)

Appreciate any comments. Are there any other bonnie lovers in MD??

I like the look of the gold wheels with the black, but they're a pain in the arse to clean all the brake dust off! (the front ones of course, the rears are always nice due to the drums)
I really like the dark forest green color of some of the other guys' cars on here, but heck, i'm happy just to be in the happy group of bonnie lovers! Besides, it'* paid for

I was in grad wchool back in 1997 and this guy i knew there had an early bonnie, perhaps 1991 or so. definitely the boxier rear end, but still nice looking car. He had gotten it used so it had cheap "purple" window tint which was starting to peel, as well as headlight covers. When he started dating, his girlfriend hated the look of it and called it "The Ghetto Sled". Personally i fell in love with the way the interior of the car looked at night, with everything lit up, and that crazy compass whipping around on the dash. It was a sweet ride before the tranny went and the guy decided to sell it to please his now-wife. They got a Toyota Camry instead, which is a trade-down if you ask me!!
When I was 13(198
my good friends family got a 1987 Pontiac Bonneville LE... Thats where it all began... The car was the same color as yours 89SE, it was so cool looking.. And man would it run... That big car would kick *** and had a sporty ride to boot... After that I have always liked the old 87-91 body style... I had to have one... I ended up with the 95, and 2 years later I ended up with the 91,the one I really wanted...Jk....

I should add that all my friends (and myself) drove junkers when we were in school, but around 2002 we all started graduating- One of my friends got a 1995 Bonnie SE which i had always thought was a "grandpa car". That was until i actually saw it. It was a white car though, so perhaps i should warn him about the dangers to white bonnie'* which i've seen all over this forum.
Anyhow, when it came my turn to look for a new(er) car, i must admit the bonnie was by far my #1 choice- i wanted something sporty, yet still a four-door, which leads to my question for you guys: What would your list of sporty four-door cars include??

I love 4 door sporty cars. I love the Bonne the best (of course) and will get another one. Grand Prixs GTX/GTPs are probably second. If I was rich I'd add the BMW 300, 500, and the new 700 series to the list, but that'* not reality, so I'll stick with my trusty Bonnevilles
