Just thought I'd share some pics of my newly acquired 1988 Bonneville SSE.
Overall I'm pleased with it. It needs a few things doing such as new brake discs and pads at the front, new lock barrels, and one or too electrical toys need fixing but other that than it seems very sound - especially condsidering its age.
It'* a Canadian spec car and has 133,000 kilometres (roughly 82,000 miles on the clock) and as far as I can tell it is rust free.
Anyway, here they are:

Cool stuff! Bringing back memories for me....paint looks pretty good for that year. Beautiful set of tails on there too.
Few questions though. Where did the spoiler go? And do you have the 3.8 or the 3800 under the hood?

Simon- WOW. That has got to be one of the nicest 88'* that I've seen. The condition is amazing, and definitly looks to be rust free and paint gleams. One of the few 88-91 SSE'* that Ive seen without the spoiler. And beautiful tails. They are VERY hard to find, and very $$$ if you can find some. Hope to see more pics.
