I think the accident jogged Scotts memory.

Right now Pat is typing of a 20 page dissertaion on 92-94 were the only years with matching columns, steering wheels and the odd looking charcoal vents

no no no!!! NO! i promise! i have got to find some pics of my car...where....are....they.....????? i'll find some. I would bet my life on it! i am 100% POSITIVE that EVERYTHING was tan except the trim around the vents and the vents themselves! o.k...so the shift **** was charcoal...but the steering wheel was DEFINITELY tan!! really! puhleeeez believe me.....someone?

A quick search on E-Bay revealed all 96 and up had the charcoal wheel and shifter :P

So, if your'* had tan...what happened to YOUR car?...LOL

Anbody here with a 96 and up with a tan steering wheel and shift ****?

in the 96 and up years a new steering wheel and airbag was introduced to the bonneville.... it was a charcoal color along with the steering steering wheel clolum....the cobra head shift **** was charcoal in the years 95-99.....Unless the steering wheel was dyed in Beans car...there was no way

Information like this is why we "allowed" him to take up garage space for nearly his entire stay.

(actually, that is exactly why the AO was in there..it has a way of making you do things like that... ).

Thanks, Matt. I love the color, too...it is very unique for any bonne and even more so on an SSEI.

I actually would have taken just about any color (my favorite color, though, you already know )...this one just happened to be at the right place, at the right time, with the right mileage, and for the right price.
