Here'* my question... how many miles can you get out of a DOHC like that maxima.. i heard those will burn out in due time ..whereas the pushrod engine(3800) could last forever if treated properly.. My dad has one of those 3.5L DOHC 215hp intrigues and its extremely peppy when you gun it ..and you can just hear the engine winding up AS MUCH as possible.. just seems like it won't go the distance as far as mileage. ..i'm a newbie engine dood.. so bear with me

Me too! As long as my mom keeps changing the oil and drive the way she drive it and I blow the car out from time to time, we shouldn't have a problem with it.
