A little overdue.

I've neglected cosmetics in favor of motor replacement and intercooler work, so this was due:

YIKES.

Parting shot. Hard to tell there's an intercooler hiding here. Even if you DO know the motor:

Those rims cleaned right up!

What do you normally use? I've found Simoniz wheel cleaner to be good at getting into those nooks and crannies on our Goldlace rims.

PS: Exhaust tips are a big thumbs up!

Never noticed the laser etching on the valve covers! Nice touch, man! Must be nice to have access to all those awesome lasers...

Very very clean, kinda jealous...

*Ahem* missed a spot.

Those damn things are such a pain in the ass to clean...I'm sure no one blames you for neglecting them for some time.

They look pretty damn good now though.

Nice hood, the color looks a bit better now.

Eagle One tire and wheel cleaner and a black spiral bristle brush. All 4 wheels take 10 minutes.

Exhaust tips still need to be raised and shifted to one side slightly, but we'll do that at the exhaust shop when the resonator gets replaced under warranty.

Wow! Beautiful, Will.
I'll be up there again next xmas - think you can do my Bonnie too?
Is that a PCV open-air element where I think I should be seeing the thermostat? Is the fiber-braided-looking, water-hose style hose the return from the intercooler? Is the other feed hose what looks similar, behind the nice red mesh on the right hand side? Did you have to utilize some manner of sandwich plate to get the pressurized air from the bottom of the supercharger out to hose (to intercooler), and then back (from intercooler) to hose to LIM?
Looks great! ..also looks like your 'boost belt' is running around a tiny bearing up top!

Bring it on up. We always have fun here.

No, the thing I think you're looking at is my EGR valve cap maybe? Different than yours.

Braided stainless is my fuel pressure gauge for my adjustable regulator. But you can't see that in the pics. The large 1" diameter black loomed thing across the front is the IC tube. It's actually clear under the loom. Over beside the master brake cylinder you can see my reservior/burb valve.

My intercooler uses no stacked plates. It's actually completely incorporated into the LIM.

And that's a rather humongous pulley for the Zilla's standards. But we'll be pulleying back down shortly. ;)

I love the subtlety of that hood.
Awesome job, it looks so nice.

Its about time you washed that poor ole car.
I gotta say, it always amazes me how well yours cleans right on up!
Mine has been clean since Oct. 13/07 :P so there!

I have more work to do, but it's a good start. I neglected it knowing we'd mess it up with the motor swap and IC install.

No excuses now! Funny how the night pics don't really show the fat meats on the crosslaces, but in day pics, you can tell right away.
