The LeSabre (LOTS of pictures & video)
Hi guys, I'm new here (sorta) and I wanted to get started by properly introducing both of my cars, this thread will be for the LeSabre...so that when I reference them in the future, you'll know what I'm talking about.
It'* a 1997 LeSabre Limited, and it'* a fairly rare one at that...this one is fully optioned out from the factory. The only option it doesn't have is the engine block heater. When I bought this car, it had only one owner, and I believe he had custom ordered it that way. 3.06 gears and F41 suspension add to the fun (came stock).
Now, here'* what I've added:
Intense FWI, PLIM, MagnaFlow cat, custom tune done by Brad (sandrock) at the other forum, 180* thermostat, heavy duty B&M trans cooler, Scangauge II, 5000k HID kit, some engine detailing, resonator delete, Buick "portholes" with some custom badging...and I think that'* it.
Here are my favorite pictures, some things have changed though (will cover in a bit):
Yikes...sorry for all the pics, I am a bit of a pic *****. And there'* more...
As I said above, the car looks a little different now...I just haven't had time in the past couple of months to take it on a proper photoshoot. The changes are subtle. I no longer have the dual exhaust, I went back to a stock single with a chrome tip because I missed my Buick being quiet. I also no longer have the foglights, they were junk and really just a bandaid until I got my HIDs. Here'* what the car looks like now, in a less glamorous setting (I should have knocked that leaf off the hood before taking the pic!):
The interior...
Here'* what it looks like without all the fancy camera tricks...
Needs a vacuuming there.
And finally, the engine bay. These were taken just a couple of days ago.
Okay lol...I'm done whoring pics for now, I promise.
But I have vids, too.
This video shows what my custom tune did for me. My memory fades on what all was done, but I think I included everything in the video description. Oh and to correct myself, that'* not a 4-1 downshift, it'* a 3-1. I don't think a 4-1 is physically possible because it would be over redline in first gear once fourth gear engages.

Now in that vid, I still had the Flowmaster. I don't anymore. Here'* what it sounds like now:

Wow...sorry for the long post. I really think that'* it. I'll post any updates as I have them.
Thanks for looking...and bearing with the page load time!

Thanks! It'* been a great car to me. Doesn't really need much either, currently it just needs new shocks and struts. It still rides okay, but I get clunks from time to time in the front. Other than that though, it'* solid and good to go!

Thanks guys!
Whoa, you remembered that video? I haven't seen it myself in a long time, lol! I had a bunch more, but youtube keeps disabling my audio for having copyrighted content. They haven't gotten that one yet!
