just put in the angel eyes on the 2001
9 hours of long labor, and many questions asked, but theyre done.

im sure its nothing new to any of you
but i couldnt get the SS H3'* to fit in. the H3 gray plastic was too big for the hole. theres these screw holes that caused it to not go in. but otherwise im a happy kid again.
enjoy

lookin good....9 hrs wow, what made it take so long? It is definitely worth to see the end result of a project, no matter how long the project takes to complete.

I call it the "learning curve"For the LED'* I thought the black to black needed to be connected and the yellow wire i knew needed to find purple parking lamp wire. Thankfully a few of you cleared it up around 11 am that the black was for the ground. Then i spent an hour trying to figure out how i was gonna mount them, that was fun. FYI: I have the brackets as if the screw holes were looking at you and the bulbs were facing out, a 90 degree if you will... then screwed them to the top of the foglamp cutout in the bumper. works great.
Then after everything was together i thought the LEDs werent working, turns out the suns brightness got me on that one, i went to test them by touching the battery terminals inside the car, and sure enough they went on.
Oh Lunch break is very important...and at 20 yrs old, food is the one thing i always stop for that took an hr. I'd love to have those SS h3'* working in there, if anyone has done that PM me. share the wealth, its appreciated very much.

haha sounds like a fun adventure...yah the angel eyes do not show well with the sun, especially with the red ones. Even upgrading just the fog lights give a big improvement with rain and everything (especially with the 92-99 sse/ssei that have the huge fog light holes) My fogs take up the whole space and I had to basically wedge them in to fit. I love the creeping look of the angel eyes and your car does it well!
you cant rush perfection.
i need an opinion. Cleared corners. Ive read up on how to do them, but with my color car....will it look dorky or sporty now with the angel eyes in place
im keeping this car for life so when im 30 i dont wanna look at it and go "ahh what did i do 10 years ago".

My car is the same color as yours and I like my lights cleared. I didn't like it at first but they really have grown on me. I would post a pic but I'm on a crappy old laptop that seems to crash any time I try to upload pics.
Besides if you dont like it in ten years, you'll probably need new lenses anyways

i might take an adventure this weekend and clear my corners, i think your car would look really good with them cleared especially with all the chrome in the grille you did
