Yes. Heat the "tar" holding the lights together, release the tabs, remove the clear part, clean the chrome part, cut the amber part off the red part but leave the black peice in the middle. Reheat the tar and stick them back together, add silicone if you'd like.

Cut the amber off with the dremel. You should have the those little cutting discs and spindle. Wear safety glasses.

You have to heat the tar, I use my 1200w heatgun. Try one of those hairdryers, It'll take like 20min to get it heated.

He only had to use the dremel for the inner parts of the tails. The outer tails that are mounted to the car itself pulled apart with a hairdryer in like 10 minutes.
