I only used the swoops for a little while this winter but for some reason they had little spots of what seemed to be rust all over them. Took me hours to get them back to like new. Here'* what it looks like for now.

So do I really wax the rims?

And I used a turtle wax rubbing compound to clean them up.

Nice work, I still have to Liquid Glass mine. I used Mothers Chrome Polish to get those spots off when I did mine...

i have stuff like that on two of my wheels.. but they're a silver alloy finish with clear coat

how do i get that off ?

Always treat your wheels just like your paint. Clay should do the trick for you. Follow up by hand polishing and then throw a layer or two of your favorite LSP on.

That stuff there is why I love my powdercoated rims. No worries about corrosion like on polished or chromed wheels...

That'* a hell of a job you did there, Jarvis. Most people just give up when their wheels start looking like that. Those things look like they just came out of the plating bath!
