I'm the same way. I see passed the repair and I see the original body and then I see the damage. Recently, a tree fell in front of my dad while he was driving my Trailblazer and had no choice but to hit it. The front bumper was breached, the running board was bent, the antenna was ripped straight out and I haven't even seen under her yet. After it'* all repaired, I'm still going to see the damage to my baby. it sucks. lol. So I know exactly how you feel.
