nope, they're just there so the hazard button doesn't look out of place by just being slapped in the middle of the dash.

somebody should do a door handle swap or order some...the inside door handles look the same and chrome door handles would look "pimp" in 1 of the newer bonnies!!

However, I realy do like the exterior design of the Auora it has nice curves. It'* kinda cool how you have climate control on the steering wheel. Again this is just IMHO.
My dad used to own a Toyota with "wood trim " the crap rubbed off revealing it was just stuck over the gold trim
You're talking about a TOYOTA though!!!! Doesn't necessarily mean that American made cars pull the same cheap trick!

GM must've agreed. The Bonneville got the Aurora'* seats in 2003 along with the chrome door handles and chrome exhaust tips after the Aurora was discontinued. I think the Bonne also was offered with the rain-sensing windsheild wipers which were standard on V8 Auroras 01-02 in 2003 as well. Pontiac advertised it as a "new luxury interior."

I really WISH they put the L67 in the 2000-03 Aurora. That gen Aurora has the best interior ever IMO. If only GM continued LSS past 99. Thanks to all the import ricers it didn't.

i would have to disagree, i prefer the classic aurora and bonnie interior over the 2nd gen... Im not sure what it is, but it just doesnt appeal to me...... I love the outside design of the 2nd gen aurora but will never own one based on my indifference to the interior

I think the biggest turn-off for most people is how conservative it is designed. Some might even go as far as to say it'* 'boring' looking. The entire design of the interior on the 2nd Generation of Auroras is very simple, yet they had more options than the Bonneville and there don't appear to be as many buttons scattered around the interior. It is not a busy design at all. Some like that, some don't. It'* either people love it, or they don't. Not much in between. Although it might be a little on the boring side, it really is built quite a bit better and the fit and finish is much better, and you can feel the difference in the quality of materials used. I think the biggest factor is whether you like a flashier-attention getting interior, or one more rich and refined, yet less flashy. I've always liked luxury cars and this was affordable, yet very nice. I was deciding between the Bonneville and Aurora for several weeks before making a decision. The decison came after several different test drives and deciding what I wanted. It ended up being the more luxury-oriented car. It fits me I guess.
