Default I'm New...

I need to host some pics, no time now....but I've got a 1996 Bonne SE, white, dk grey cloth...alpine/mtx audio, 5 spoke rims and NO SPOILER. Saggy butt Bonneville....85k, paid $5500 for her just about a year ago. Nicest car I've ever owned, and the first one that hasnt been all that embarrassing. I did have 2 LeSabres, an 89 and a 92. The 92 took a dump on me real quick though :( other than those I had a Taurus and an Astro conversion van. Laugh all you want, it cost me $600. But i figured it was time to bite the bullet and buy a real car, so I ended up falling in love with my tail-fin lacking beauty. Thats the only feature I really wish she had that she doesnt....

Anyways, I have a question, Ive done a search on the forums but came up with nothing. Whats the deal with the clear corners? I'm assuming you guys have made them, how did you go about doing this?

I'll get to hosting some pics now, hopefully I'll have them by the end of the day. Thanks!

Looks good.
Some interior pics would be even better.

What is that sticker on the back of your trunk lid?

The emblem is long gone....it said Lunde Automotive, a local dealer. That was taken off shortly after those pics were taken. Was a real pain to get the gooey crap off of the back, too. I will hopefully get some nice interior pics this weekend, I need to give her a real car wash since winter is over to get all the crud off and vaccum the sand and salt out of her. I'm getting the windows tinted Thursday so I'll get some of that too.

the images should enlarge to full size if you click them, they are hosted over on ImageShack. I'm working hard at finding a spoiler....but not hard enough it seems.

so no word on those clear corners? I might just have to take my headlights apart this weekend. My husband did his own clear altezza style tail-lights on his beretta back in the day, maybe we can figure it out somehow...

Clearing the corners is easy. The orange part is a seperate piece. I just semi-carefully cut my lenses open with a hack saw. If your very careful, you can avoid the scratches I ended up with. I was able to pry mine open with a wide screwdriver after cutting them about 3 or 4 incehes.

Once you get then lenses open, pull out the orange part, clean the fingerprints off of everything, then use a buttload of silicone glue to close them back up.

Voila, yu're done

Or read this http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/?article=9

Tail lights are a whole different story. Not sure they're possible at all

I will hopefully be back with some new pics for you this weekend or next week, with the tint and perhaps some clear corners.
