Default In Idaho GPers and Bonnie People work together. 56k NO

I know in a lot of places there are "issues" with Bonneville and GP guys, I can name a few from memory. Far from the case in Idaho Though. We had a good meet today. Mostly GTPs, a couple bonnies and a GS. Boise went from no club to a group of 10+ cars in a couple months after a forum/site was in place.

This is our version of "The Villa", while its not all Bonnevilles, we still try to fix eachothers cars and make sure everyone'* is running/looking as it should.

Arrival at 10am, we were running a big late, thanks to my broken alarm clock.

A new guy shows up 5 minutes after I arrive. (Diegosud)

Working on Cars

Hmm...something missing here?

Crap, put the MPS hub on too far....time to take er off again.

Our former state trooper quit his job and now works in the detail business, hes buffing out scratches for Diego.

And now throwing a coat of wax on the girly car.

Son of a *****, trying to get the MPS hub on the right way.

Line the cars up.

Ryan. (Diego'* Co-Pilot)

Cars.

People

What the heck is Diego doing?

Different Angle

Shocked how many cars showed up.

Jared, trying to troubleshoot diego'* low boost problem, turned out to be a bad BCS/BCA, we still are not sure, but my money is on the BCS.

Check out the plate. Then look at one of the red cars...Must be an Idaho thing.

This reminds me of WCBF 06 and 07, Why do I always get left in the dust behind the girly colored cars?

Stopping in Twin Falls, The utard needed a shorter SC belt to run with his 3.4....I happened to have a spare.

It was a great time had by all. We got a lot of work done, swapped out a bunch of pulleys, got some members on the right track as to why their cars are not running right, scanned some cars with a scantool. Found out my car has a lot of KR, and met a lot of cool people.

Looks like a good time. Love that pic with all of the cars lined up in the cul-de-sac.
Too bad that wasn't all Bonnies. Would be a great pic for the new saver.

Forget GPers having problems with Bonne owners. GPers have problems with other GPers, i.e. "gen II" guys hate "gen I" GPs, GTPers don't think much of GTers, etc. That'* one of the things I found really cool about the Bonneville community. There'* none of this ego-maniac (for ignorant, unjustified reasons, of course) mentality. At least not from what I've seen.

It always has been alot more chill than the Grand Prix community. Not complaining.

I'm about 5 hours out. If my tranny was in a little better shape, I might make it. Keep me posted if you decide to go again later!
