Damn, that is just petty...and go figure I was just describing this to a new member at ACNA (lives in my area with a 2nd gen 4.0)

How much are grille insert replacements Dan?

all together with the chrome strips, and the replacement grilles, the total cost was around $60. I should have the new ones installed Friday morning or so.

EDIT: Luckily they're easy to remove so they didn't break anything. I guess it coudl have been a lot worse. Atleast it wasn't my headlights or something more expensive than $40.

what the......... Dan, didnt you say those stripes were the same as you would put on the door edges?

yes they are. They're $3 for 2 strips. You need 8 strips total. Guess they actually cost around $13 after tax, not $16.

damn...... that sucks.

I had someone steal the center caps off of my 92 Firebird back in 1992...... I never replaced them since they were "twist and go". It'* a crappy feeling when it happens to you......
