Almost done carving. Here'* an update:

I just have to finish the "P" then resand the letters and touch up the black. Then i can concentrate on the lights.

Done!
Here'* the center section with the bulbs mounted. I used a hole saw, then spliced in sockets from the doner harness.

After I was done carving the letters, I used a fine modling paint brush to finish tracing each letter. When that dried, I sprayed the letters with clear, high temp ceramic paint.
Then I glued on the center section with 2 part epoxy.

Drifter was the first.. I asked how he did it and when he said he cut the letters through from the outside

I liked the look, didn't want to cut the front. Many conversations with Corvettecrazy and I hopped on the project starting a week before him. Being that I have an SSEi with the DIC, voltage to bulbs etc can't be altered much. I used LED'*...
