You can usually use a heat source (like a blow dryer)

I got brave on mine. I used and exacto knife to carefully pick up a corner of each letter and then pull it off. A bit of Goof Off to get rid of the extra glue, a couple of coats of wax, and you can't tell it was ever there.

Notice, tho, I said carefully. Do not attempt to scrape it off if you try my plan. Use the tip of the blade to pick at the sticker until it lifts. Abd be careful

I did the exact same thing as John. I've had to do it on two different cars and was successful on both.

The thing working to your advantage is that the sticker probably hasn't been on the car too long (most likely they brought the car in on trade or bought it from the auction...then slapped the sticker on). It should come off relatively easy. I'd start with trying to get it off with your finger nail...you'll probably surprise yourself with how easy it is to get off.

Awesome! Use a dab of Goo Gone to get off the glue. You can pick it up at Home Depot or at a hardware store. I wouldn't use anything other than Goo Gone because it may damage your paint (although, I have used use a Q-tip with gasoline...but I don't recommend that).

And I helped!!

I've never used GooGone, but it'* probably about the same as GoofOff. Something with Naptha in it should remove the glue. Use a little chemical remover as possible and a lot of elbow grease to prevent paint damage.

Don't use mineral spirits as it is a paint thinner. You don't want the paint to come off!

Hold out for the Goof Off or the Goo Gone.

Zippo lighter fluid will work, too.

Let me stress again, tho, just to be on the safe side, use as little of any chemical as possible. Get a soft rag barely wet with the chemical, and us it on the smallest area you possibly can.

Any Naptha based product (Goo Gone, GoofOff, Zippo fluid) should be safe on your paint.

You were careful, tho, right? I may have forgotten to mention to be careful so as not to damage your paint....

Them dealerships really need to work on where they put those friggin stickers.
