awww shucks, your  me. LOL Thanks alot OlBlue.
You should try and photoshop that look onto your car. I think it would look bad ass! Very unique, & Stylin!

I was thinking about gettin new gold pin striping but a custom one. I havent actually seen this anywhere but in my head :insane: but i was tihinking of a gold and clear checkered flag design about 1 to 2" high, in the same place as the original was... Waddya think?

(Hopefully you dont mean 'taken out' as in getting T-boned at an intersection? )

Oh yeah, OlBlue, Thanks for the  .

These are my new side markers. Im gonna clear em out tomorrow. The first set was practice since they were both damaged and my clear caulk was bad so i used white, which was almost bad and was kinda yellow.
Got any other ideas?

I can't find the gold on the net for you man! I'll go to autozone and see if they have some but I don't think you can ship paint can you? :?:
I like the gold theme but since I'm painting my car blue again i don't know if gold would be good looking or not. have you seen those drum covers that look like brake rotors?? i guess they call them brake rotor simulators.

I know it's apc but it would cover up the ugly drums!
I tried finding paint on the net for you but I can't find gold!!

IF you can find any gold caliper paint youre good! even the stores that say they have it dont. Folia-tec wa like the only one making it, they're out fo germany and the boat with the new supply doesnt port until 6/30. What i got is G2 which doesnt even advertise gold! I found it on ebay, and the title said G2 GOLD CALIPER PAINT IN!! It was in G2 box, which showed all of the colors they sell on the box. Gold wasnt even one of them!! LOL Hopefully G2 really is making gold cause they're a US company. I didn tcare as long as i got it!

fake rotors would be too cool! 2 questions: are they compatible with our drums? & can you paint them? ok 3 questions :? is there a fake caliper that mounts on it? that would be really cool!

Good job man that looks really good with the contrast of the rim and the gold caliper. Are you going to get new drums to paint or are you going to clean up the ones you have?? :?

Nytro67 06-08-2003 11:13 PM

thanks dude. :) Im pretty happy with the turn out too, just dont get the shiznet on your hands!!
I was gonna just clean the drums up. Bonnie94sse mentioned something about getting new ones too. then it dawned on me later Is it just the cover of the drum i need? i was thinking he was talking aboot the whole kit and kaboodle but if its just the covers that shoulds be an easy swap. right?

Im gonna call Miglia and see if i can get some black lettered center caps too. better brush up on my italian...

russianpolarbear 06-08-2003 11:41 PM

Yeah just the drum itself not the whole assembly 8)

Looks good Nytro! Except for one wee little problem. You have the roatation on your rotors backwards. You need to swap them. The slots should sweep BACK, not forward.

Thanks Will.

of course, to vent the air out, not RAM the air in correct? :duh:
There was no literature at all, just a beat up Avian water box with the rotors and pads jammed in between crumbled newspaper. :( I got it and thats what counts!

I'm gonna have the dealer take a look at the caliper with the stripped mounting bolt, i'll ask if they will swap them out then. I'd rather have the professionals take a look and access the situation. I just hope its the bolt and and the seat it screws into.

Do you have a PN in your magic book for just a caliper mounting bolt?

Thanks,
Noel

That RSM rotor packing sounds somewhat familiar. I figured it was just because I got the first set! My book doesn't list out the caliper bolts seperately. Sorry. Hey, what pads did you go with?
